I have
been a lucky guy most of my life. I was particularly lucky when I
was allowed to transfer to WLHS (I believe I was the last student
permitted to attend by paying tuition and not living in the
district--with a smile, Mr. Floyd said "nothing personal Kent"). I
cannot imagine a better opportunity at that age. It was a privilege
to experience the quality education, the great friends, and the
supportive environment. I am grateful for that time in my life.
I moved to
Tucson 20+ years ago and became reacquainted with Bill Bache who is
now a best friend.
A family
commitment prevents me from attending the reunion. However, I will
be thinking of all of you. My best to everyone and thanks for the
great memories.
