Dancing with my son 7/5/2013
Looking forward to seeing all of you. I retird
from counseling in higher education soon after our last reunion and
of course I am busier than ever. I have children in L.A., Chicago
and Valparaiso, Indiana. They have blesses me with 5 wonderful
grand children. I spend my time with them, wonderful friends, church,
bookclub a little travel and well just about anything I want..Ha I
was converted,by Craig,into being a big Alabama Football fan...so
Roll Tide once again!!!!! I follow Indiana for basketball so with
those odds college sports make me a winner! I have an adorable
Lhasa Apso named Little Bear. I sold the big house and bought a
great condo where I don't have to worry about the big yard. See you
soon....huge thank you to all the committee for all the work making
the reunion possible. If I don't show up, Margi and I are probably
in jail for causing a public disturbance somewhere between Grand
Rapids and W.L. Come bail us out!

Kathy & Grandchildren
It is kind of fitting to
be nearly 63 years old and heading for our class of '63 HS reunion!
Life is really changing. I just retired after 19 years as Director
of Counseling at Kendall College of Art & Design. It was the
perfect job for me and I loved every minute of it. It is hard to
think of coming back to all of you without Craig, but I am beginning
to look at the great memories with less pain. I am still in the
family home...still feeling the security but dreading the yard work
and swimming pool upkeep as the trees begin to bud. I will find my
way to a condo when the housing market begins to look better. Two
of my children are near Chicago.. Chesterton, Indian...so this
possibly could be a good move. I hang out with many great friends,
cherish my great book club, volunteer, travel and pamper myself when
at all possible. Five grand children are the joy of my life. I
will hit Dallas and LA this summer and I am really excited about
next Christmas in New Zealand. I am looking forward to seeing
everyone. Kathy
