Hiking with Friends in
AZ
I now have
a grandson Jack who is adorable and will be 3 in Nov. He
unfortunately lives in Paris, France so I do not see him often but
in lots of pictures. I visited in June for 10 days and took him all
over while mom and dad had to work. Mom was in China doing boutiques
for Louis Vitonne who she works for. Dad had a class of students
from USA in for a week learning about the neuroscience he does so I
had Jack all to my self. I was glad to be home after 10 days.
My middle
son works for a company in Durham NC and designs compounds for new
drugs to go to market. Son three works for a company that helps make
ads for companies.
I spend my
summers hiking the wonderful mountains in Montana and make a couple
trips to Glacier Park. Last summer Lynn Vanetten joined me and we
had a lot of fun. I also play a lot of bridge with my pals and try
to get out on my bike often.
I am
trying to get back to Colorado where I came from but have not gotten
my house sold yet. It is beautiful here but hard to fly into or out
of due to cost of a small airport. I have lots of room and fishing
is great here so come and visit.

Margo Wow...45 years is a lot
of catching up. The pictures are obviously my sons who I will write
more about, my real estate picture from last year (amazing what a
camera can do) and one of me and a friend who turned 80 this last
Christmas in his Virginia hillbilly shack his wife provides to keep
him and his buddies out of the house while consuming bourbon.
I have spent 24 years of my
life in pharmaceutical sales and management. I started in Chicago
then promoted to Colorado and eventually 14 years later to Montana.
I retired in 2006 and love the outdoor life here with hiking,
fishing, cc skiing and beautiful scenery but it's lonely being alone
here since I have not met a lot of people to do things with yet plus
it is hard for my three sons to get here and expensive. So I may
move back to Colorado in the future.
My sons were dragged to Colorado in their teens
and all went to CU Boulder. They loved the skiing, biking etc but
have scattered for their jobs. Brandon went to UCLA for his PhD and
is now in Paris doing his post doc work and living with a wonderful
French gal who is an architect for Louis Vitonne and designs his
boutiques. (Yes I got a purse for Christmas). Brian stayed at CU for
his PhD and this last June took a job in Durham, NC with a small
startup biotech company as head of the chemistry dept. He loves the
weather there and I visited him before going to our Virginia outing
at Christmas. Brad went
to NY after graduation and is in website design. He is my traveler
and just returned from a month in Ethiopia. He two years ago went to
Malawi (before Madonna did) and has traveled to Australia, New
Zealand and Europe. He just got accepted at Columbia into their
Master's program for journalism.
I love visitors and am close to Glacier and
Yellowstone so come on out. See you all in July. |
