Ed, Jeanne, daughter Anna excited for first
grandchild. Nov. 2012
We will be in Brooklyn on Sept. 18, for a week,
visiting our grandson.
We only go two times a year, and this is the best
time for our daughter so I won't be attending our 50th. I will be
thinking of you all.
Ed and I live in Bloomington, In. We chose
Bloomington based on location.
Not too far from my sister in Kentucky, an hour
from Indy airport, and not too much snow.
Okay, I decided to go back and read what you
wrote from my 1963 yearbook ! Here is a sampling!!
-
Mary Jo: I hope I didn't shock you too much
at Marilyn's party. (can't remember)
-
Dave K: Jeanne Jeanne, the big W........
-
Bob S. : Jeanne the Wienie, if I was an
artist I would draw a frog. (reference to Mr. Bush's class)
-
Diana W. Let's get together and cut off some
frog heads together. (whew)
-
Bill B.: Sorry about the other day....we were
out for a good time and to raise some he... and you just came
along at the wrong time. (can't remember)
-
Diane W.: I will never forget all the fun we
had doubling last year. (who were the guys?)
-
Sandy: Finally got you to church....know you
won't regret it because you-know-who was there. (okay!!)
-
John K.: Once we were classmates at
Klondike, but who would admit it. (ha)
-
Craig: We really had one hell of a ball in
old Sink's room. (seriously)
-
Judy P.: I loved your dress on the prom
court. (can't remember)
-
Jodi: I will just say "Remember". (I do)
-
Mitzie: Thanks for listening to all my
problems. (what were they?)
-
Tammy: Say, do you remember last summer at
the Custard? ( no )

In the past 15 years (45 is too
far to go back), I have worked at 3 great places in 3 different
states. An independent bookstore (Kids Ink), the children's
department of Wheaton Public Library, and most recently another
independent bookstore (Between The Covers). I love adult and kid
books.
We live at the tip of the Mitt,
as they say up here, and it is beautiful but I see another move in
our future. We miss the latest movies, big ten sports, a normal
department store, and an airport with more than one runway. The
airport is a problem with daughter Anna in Manhattan. She is
clerking for a federal judge who does some terrorist cases. She did
not tell me that for a month! This is a year long commitment for
her and then back to a large firm. She is unmarried (and no
children), but in a long term relationship with a great guy.
Well, back to shoveling snow!
