I am
currently blessed with a lovely wife of 28 years, a great family and
good health. As others have posted, life is good.
After
graduating from BYU with a degree in Accounting, a low draft number
forcing me into a decision that many of us faced. I spent the next 4
years as an Air Force officer in Denver, Viet Nam and Germany. I
then ended up in Phoenix where I got an MBA at Arizona State, and
reconnected with Dan Cable.
My
professional career as a CPA and Corporate Financial Officer took me
from Phoenix to San Francisco, Honolulu and back to Denver, where I
have lived (except for 3 years in New Jersey) since the late 70's.
Penny and
I enjoy our family, the outdoors, travel and our mountain cabin. She
is a quilter and I am a woodworker. We both stay busy enough that we
are among those retirees who don't know how we had time to work.
As I write
this on 8/31/13, I am trying to rearrange a prior commitment so that
I can reconnect with everyone at the reunion. I hope to see you all
there.
