It is fun to read about all
of you!
The most important things in
my life are my husband John and our sons, Mark and John IV. Mark
is an engineer in Detroit working for Tri Ad. His most notable
project so far was release engineer for the convertible/truck the
Chevrolet SSR. (Still single).
John was married two years
ago in Prague and he and Silvie are also in the Detroit area.
John is working on a masters in Institutional and Industrial
Psychology and Silvie is in law school.
John sold his business in
October and has been "undoing" his company since then. (I thought
he was going to retire!)
Don't know what I have done -
although I was bitten by the aviation "bug" and became a Certified
Flight Instructor with an Instrument Instructor license as
well as a multi engine license so I can fly John's twin Comanche.
I taught people to fly for 15 years and loved it. Then I had an
opportunity to fly the Women's Air Race Classic which was one of
the most fantastic experience in the world. Flew with Margaret
Ringenburg who was a WASP in World War II: of our three races we
placed 16th, 6th and 2nd.
Volunteering is a big time
consumer for me. Somehow I became the fundraising chairman of the
Terre Haute Air Show and just finished a fundraising dinner for
164 to support the Swope Art Museum. Also enjoy tennis, cooking,
gardening and sailing.
John and I hope to retire (!)
in Charlevoix, Michigan where we have a log cabin waiting for us.
Hope this finds all of you
well and happy - see you soon!
