Chad Nelson and I met at IU,
married in 1969 and settled in MN where we have resided ever since;
I have lived in MN more than twice as long as I lived in WL. I now
have a Minn-e-sota accent EXCEPT when I meet old friends from IN; in
which case I revert back to my Hoosier dialect in mid-sentence. Our
son Brett, lives in CO, is married and teaches school. He is
currently on leave in Santiago, Chile, where he and his wife are
teaching at an Int'l school. Our daughter, Cara, and her husband
live in the Twin Cities and have a 4 year old and 5 month old baby.
Chad, after 36 years at General Mills, and I (sort of) are both
retired. I'm still working 2 days a week as a Clinical Pharmacist
for Aetna Pharmacy Mgt. I first started out, after retirement,
filling-in for allergy season, then summer vacations for others, and
then flu season in the fall and winter..well you get the idea...So I
stay VERY BUSY - working for Aetna, taking care of 2 grandkids, and
traveling in between. I'm certainly looking forward to re-connecting
with all of you at the reunion. See you there.
Fondly,
Nancy.
